WHO THIS SOLUTION IS FOR ?

Engineered for High-Risk, High-Responsibility Environments

Hunter Steel’s welding habitats are purpose-built for organizations that cannot afford compromise when performing hot work in hazardous areas.

Ideal for:

  • Oil & Gas Facilities

  • Offshore Platforms & FPSOs

  • Refineries & Petrochemical Plants

  • Power & Energy Projects

  • Industrial Maintenance & Shutdown Operations

Key Features and Advantages

Each Hunter Steel habitat is built from anti-static, flame-retardant materials and designed with a modular frame that can be quickly assembled around complex structures. The system provides complete flexibility for both temporary jobs and long-term site installations.

The habitat maintains a controlled positive internal pressure (minimum 25 Pa) using a compact fan unit. This prevents the entry of flammable gases or vapors. An integrated dual-door airlock system helps retain stability every time personnel enter or exit the enclosure.

Our digital control module continuously tracks air pressure, gas concentration, oxygen levels, temperature, and airflow. If dangerous conditions are detected, the system automatically triggers alarms and safely cuts power to hot work equipment—providing instant response and protection.

Hunter Steel habitats can be configured with extra safety modules, including additional gas detectors, emergency stops, visual beacons, and status alarms, ensuring complete adaptability to diverse site environments and operational hazards.

The Hunter Steel Advantage

As industries shift toward cleaner and more complex energy operations, Hunter Steel’s pressurized welding habitats provide a proven, sustainable, and compliant solution for hot work in explosive zones.

Designed and tested to meet international safety standards such as ATEX, IECEx, and UKEX, our systems are trusted across oil & gas facilities, offshore platforms, refineries, and industrial maintenance sites.

Hunter Steel brings together engineering expertise, field-tested reliability, and smart automation to ensure every habitat delivers maximum protection, operational uptime, and worker confidence.
